A ten-year-old Speyside single malt from Glenrothes, bottled by Brave New Spirits as the Halloween edition of its WhiskyHeroes series under the name Jack-o-Barrel: Creeper of the Casks. It was released in 2025 in a run of 666 bottles.
The whisky matured in a first-fill Amontillado sherry cask and was bottled at 54.1%, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring.
The nose brings dried fruit and malty sweetness with nuts, dry sherry and spice. On the palate, malt, nuts and fruit meet soft wood, with sweetness and spice in balance. The finish is medium to long, with dry sherry warmth, gentle spice and a nutty trail.
