A Speyside single malt from Glenrothes, distilled on 27 March 2001 and bottled in October 2012 at 11 years old by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. It was matured in a refill port pipe and bottled at 58.5% ABV, with 758 bottles filled from cask 30.73.
The nose is jammy and spiced, with plum jam, strawberry conserve, black treacle, toasted bread, honey and almonds. The palate is full-bodied, with red toffee apple, plum compote, dates, raisins, dried cherry and cinnamon. The finish is long and warming, with jam, treacle and a touch of old wood.
