This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from The Glenrothes, part of its Soleo Collection. It is matured entirely in sherry casks of American and European oak, using a mix of first-fill and refill casks to keep the whisky balanced. It is bottled at 40% and is natural in colour.
The nose is light, with banana and vanilla. Banana comes through clearly on the palate, mixed with fresh lemon and melon and a hint of cinnamon. The finish is very long and sweet, with light spice and melon.
