A 14 year old single cask Glenrothes from the Nordic Edition. It was filled into a first-fill sherry-spiced American cask, number 5463, on 4 April 2006 and bottled on 15 April 2021 at its full cask strength of 66.3%.
The bottling is made up of 570 numbered bottles from that one cask.
The whisky is described as dark and dynamic, with a good measure of bourbon-style vanilla running through the Speyside character. The sweetness is brown sugar caramelised to a syrupy richness, alongside dark chocolate, dark fudge and liquorice-coated vanilla.
