Glenrothes 18 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle and of natural colour. It is part of the Glenrothes core range.
The whisky was matured entirely in sherry-seasoned oak casks, with a high proportion of first-fill sherry casks.
The nose is rich with sherry, dried fruit, orange peel, vanilla and light spice. The palate brings raisins, dark chocolate, toffee, nutmeg and subtle wood spice. The finish is long and warm, balancing sweetness and oak.
