Glenrothes – 1968 Extraordinary Cask #13507 (41.9%)

This is a Glenrothes single malt from the Extraordinary Single Cask Collection. It was distilled on 19th November 1968, matured in a single refill hogshead and bottled on 23rd May 2013 at its natural strength of 41.9% ABV. Just 145 bottles were filled, and the release followed in 2015. Each bottle comes in a hand-blown Portuguese lead crystal decanter, with a stopper made from wood taken from cask 13507, and a leather carrying case. The aromas and flavours are of rose petals, ripe apricots, honey and Turkish Delight.
