This Glenrothes is a 20 year old Speyside single malt, distilled on 26 October 1995 and bottled on 28 July 2016 at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It matured in first-fill American oak casks and was then seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry. The release comprises 660 bottles.
The nose is described as vanilla, honey, light citrus and warm wood. The palate is creamy, with toffee, soft spice, ripe fruit and oak. The finish runs medium to long, with soft sherry, hazelnut and a hint of orange peel.
