This is an 18-year-old Speyside single malt from Glenrothes, distilled in 1995 and bottled by the distillery in 2014. It comes from Barrel No. 55, and only 660 bottles were filled, in 70cl size.
It was bottled at natural cask strength, 45.5% ABV.
The nose combines stewed fruit, honey and soft oak spices. On the palate there is dried fruit, light spice and warm vanilla, with a subtle sherry influence. The finish is long.
