Glenrothes – 1999 19 Year Old Single Cask 8168 (58.9%)

This is a single cask Speyside single malt from the Glenrothes distillery, distilled in 1999 and matured for nearly two decades in cask 8168. It was bottled in 2018 at its natural cask strength of 58.9% ABV, and 277 bottles were filled. The nose opens with grapefruit and ripe stone fruits. On the palate come dark cherry, almonds and sweet malt, with hints of barley sugar, vanilla and orange marmalade, leading to a long, vibrant finish.
