A 16-year-old Glenrothes single malt from Speyside, distilled on 15 March 2007 and matured in a single refill sherry butt. Gordon & MacPhail bottled it on 11 October 2023 for its Connoisseurs Choice range, yielding 648 bottles.
It is bottled at its natural cask strength of 62.7% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtering or added colour.
The nose brings stewed fruit, autumn spices and sweet honey. On the palate, sour cherries and tangy raspberries meet the sweetness of peanut brittle, and the medium-weight finish recalls oak and roasted almonds.
