This Glenrothes is the second release in Signatory Vintage's Small Batch Edition series, a 12 year old single malt bottled at 48.2% ABV. It was distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2023 after maturing in a combination of Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks. It is bottled at natural colour and without chill filtration.
The nose offers fruit and cakes with sweet honey, juicy raisins and cinnamon sugar. The palate is full, with vanilla pastries, malt, honey and ginger. The finish is long, ending with toasted nuts and spicy oak, along with stone fruit and cakes.
