A single cask Speyside malt from Glenrothes, bottled for the Signatory Vintage Seasons series as the Autumn Edition 2022. It was distilled on 7 March 2011 and bottled on 15 November 2022. The whisky matured for 11 years in oak, including a first-fill sherry butt finish, and 803 bottles were filled at 51.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is uncoloured and not chill-filtered.
The nose is full and strong, with dates, plums and spice, honey sweetness and light roasted notes of coffee and dark chocolate. The palate is sweet with a slightly lively acidity, heavy on the tongue, leaving dark notes of honey and dates. The finish brings oak, coffee and dark chocolate with a dry mouthfeel.
