This is a 10 year old single malt from Glenrothes, distilled on 8 May 2014 and bottled in spring 2025. It matured in a fresh fill Calvados barrique, release C25123, and only 167 bottles were filled. It belongs to Claxton's Warehouse No. 1 series. The nose is buttery and full of aroma, with strong spices, honeycomb and sponge biscuits. On the palate come intense malt, a touch of oak smoke, vanilla and cloves. The finish is long, with sherbet and oak.
