This 24 year old Glenrothes was distilled in 1997 and matured in a single refill sherry cask, which gave 250 bottles. It is a Speyside single malt, bottled by North Star Spirits in its Obscurities & Curiosities range as part of Series 20, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is wet cut grass with a slight hint of two-stroke strimmer fumes. The palate is vanilla pods roasted over crème brûlée.
