This is a 29 year old single cask Glenrothes from Speyside, bottled at a cask strength of 46.3% ABV. The cask was filled on 17 May 1991 and held a first-fill spice-seasoned sherry European oak butt. It produced 154 bottles. The nose is like polished oak with dried figs. The palate is rich with dried fruit, elegant oak notes and light spice, and the finish brings muscovado sugar with long-lasting oak.
