The whisky was distilled between 1989 and 1990 in Speyside and is a marriage of a hogshead and a sherry butt. The edition is limited to 560 bottles.
The nose offers blackcurrant jam, raisins, dates, cherry and dark chocolate, with leather and malt cake. The palate is rich, with stewed plum, molasses and candied ginger. The finish is long and warming, with polished oak and brown sugar.
