The Glenrothes 18 Year Old is a single malt aged for eighteen years exclusively in sherry barrels.
The distillery was established in 1879 and uses a private spring water source from The Glenrothes Estate for every part of production. Its house style is described as one of elemental elegance.
The nose offers orange, vanilla, pear and almond. The palate is slightly sweet, with a hint of ginger alongside pear and vanilla. The finish is sweet and spicy, with a slight pepperiness.
