A 41 year old Speyside single malt from Glenrothes, distilled in 1980 and bottled in 2022 at 42.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured for over four decades in a single sherry butt, which yielded 310 bottles, each individually numbered.
The colour is a deep amber. The nose combines dried fruits, warm spices and rich sherry notes. The palate shows honeyed sweetness, dark chocolate and a hint of oak, leading to a long finish.
