This is a single cask Glenrothes from Speyside, bottled by A.D. Rattray in its Cask Collection. It was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2022 at nine years old, from a sherry butt that yielded 637 bottles at 66.5% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The notes describe an amber sheen. The nose offers sticky raisins, coffee and walnut cake with chocolate ganache. On the palate come crumbly vanilla, buttered tea bread and ginger, and the finish brings rich malt pastry, candied orange peel and a generous pinch of baking spice.
