Glenrothes – Bourbon Cask Reserve

Glenrothes Bourbon Cask Reserve is a single malt matured only in American oak ex-Bourbon casks, all of them refill. It was previously sold as Alba Reserve and was renamed to make its purpose clearer to the trade and to drinkers. Bourbon is the only cask type in the Glenrothes range that is fully Kosher, so this expression carries Kosher certification. It was first certified in March 2009 by Rabbi Padwa of the London Beth Din, and has been certified every year since. The style is soft and mellow, with coconut and vanilla in abundance and a crème brulée flavour.
