Glenrothes Elders Reserve is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery has been rebuilt more than once. It was reconstructed in 1903 after an explosion, lost its number 1 warehouse and 2,500 casks to a fire in 1922, and was practically rebuilt again in 1963. Further pot stills went into use in 1980 and 1989, and it now runs ten.
The malt has long been popular with blenders, including The Famous Grouse and Cutty Sark.
