Glenrothes – Whisky Maker's Cut (48.8%)

Glenrothes Whisky Maker's Cut is a Speyside single malt from the distillery's Soleo Collection, a range inspired by the sun-drying of grapes before sherry production. It is matured entirely in first-fill sherry-seasoned oak casks and bottled at 48.8% ABV without chill filtration. The nose brings orange peel, vanilla and nutmeg. The palate is velvety, with sweet dried fruits, toasted oak, cinnamon and sherry spice, and the finish is long and warming, with orange, spice and oak.
