This is a 10 year old Glentauchers from Speyside, distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2000 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as single cask 63.11. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 58.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The release is one of 213 bottles. Glentauchers was established in 1898 by James Buchanan & Co. to supply its Buchanan's and Black & White blends, and its long ferments and slow distillation have favoured floral character over earthy weight.
