Gold Bar Cask Collection 820 Release Bourbon

Gold Bar Cask Collection 820 Release is a straight bourbon made in collaboration with a Texas distillery. It is grain to glass, with a mash bill of 80% Texas corn and 20% Oklahoma rye, triple distilled in copper pot stills. The whisky spends three to six years in new American oak, then is matured further in used French oak wine barrels from Napa Valley. It is married and matured by the sea in San Francisco Bay, on Treasure Island. The nose brings maple, toffee, caramel, vanilla and spicy rye. On the palate bold rye leads to toasted cinnamon and rich tobacco, ending in a soft, buttery finish with mellow cherry and sweet fruit.
