This is a Canadian blended grain whisky from Gooderham & Worts, bottled at 44.4% ABV. It was launched as a tribute to the original 1832 recipe of the Toronto distillery of the same name.
It combines four grains: corn, wheat, barley and rye, all sourced in Ontario. Each is distilled and aged separately before blending. The wheat, barley and rye are pot and column distilled, while the corn is double column distilled.
The whisky is aged in a combination of new virgin oak and used Bourbon casks.
