Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseur's Choice Tormore 2000 is a single cask Speyside single malt, distilled at Tormore in 2000 and bottled in 2025 by the independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail for its Connoisseurs Choice series.
It matured for 24 years in a single refill American oak hogshead, cask 1264, and was bottled at a natural cask strength of 56.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers mandarin peel, crisp green apple, caramel, toasted almonds and mango. On the palate come silky vanilla cream, honey, milk chocolate, lemon cheesecake and tropical fruit, with soft oak spice. The finish is long and dry, with charred oak, dried banana and a little pepper.
