Gordon & MacPhail Distillery Labels Linkwood 15 Year Old (75cl, 46%)

This is a 15 year old single malt from the Linkwood Distillery in Speyside, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Distillery Labels range at 46% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. Linkwood was founded in 1821 by Peter Brown, when distilling whisky was still illegal in Scotland. Production began in 1825, shortly after Glenlivet, which makes Linkwood arguably the country's second legal distillery. Most of its output goes into blends, Johnnie Walker and White Horse among them.
