Grand Old Parr 12 Years Old is a blended Scotch whisky in a 1 litre bottle at 40% ABV. It is named in honour of Thomas Parr, remembered for his remarkable longevity.
The blend combines malt and grain whiskies matured for a minimum of twelve years in oak casks. The bottle is square and textured.
The nose is honey, vanilla and creamy malt, with dried fruit, toasted oak and a little smoke. The palate is smooth, with toffee, orchard fruit, gentle spice and a faint earthy smokiness. The finish is warm, lingering and lightly sweet, with oak and light smoke.
