This is a 12 year old blended Scotch whisky from Grant's, matured in what the label calls Triple Wood. It comes in a 1 litre bottle at 40% ABV.
The nose is sweet with touches of sherry and notes of dried fruit, with subtle woody and malt tones behind. On the palate it shows vanilla, honey and spice, giving a rich, sweet taste, with aged grain and smoked malt adding depth. The finish is long, warm and comforting.
