Grappa Barbera Roccanivo was produced by Distilleria Berta in 2017 from Barbera pomace from Piedmont. Careful ageing brings out intense aromas and the characteristic aromatic nuances of Barbera. The nose shows warm ripe red fruit and spicy notes, with light balsamic hints. On the palate it is soft yet firm, with a pleasant persistence. It is suited as a digestif after a meal, with dark chocolate desserts or aged cheeses.
