Grappa Capovilla Pinot Noir Billecart (50cl)

A grappa from Vittorio Capovilla, distilled from Pinot Noir pomace from the grapes used for Champagne Billecart-Salmon. It is made by slow distillation in copper stills. It has a sophisticated aromatic bouquet with red fruit, a light touch of vanilla and sweet spice notes, derived from the grape and a brief rest in small oak casks. On the palate the entry is soft, developing into a rich, enveloping palate with a persistent, elegantly balanced finish. It is suited to being served slightly chilled, as a digestif or for contemplative sipping.
