Green River Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey is made from a mash bill of 95 percent rye and five percent malted barley. It is a blend of barrels aged for four to six years, distilled, aged and bottled in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Green River was founded by John W. McCulloch in 1885 as Kentucky's tenth oldest distillery, and became known as The Whiskey Without Regrets before disappearing after Prohibition. This rye is made again in the distillery's original home.
