Grey Goose L'Orange Vodka (75cl, 40%)

Grey Goose L'Orange is a French orange-flavoured vodka, infused with the natural essence of fresh oranges. The base spirit is distilled from winter wheat grown in Picardie and blended with spring water from Gensac in the Cognac region. The oranges are pressed for juice, then crushed to release the peel oils, which are vacuum-distilled twice at low temperature to protect their character. Only about 20% of the resulting fractions go into the final spirit. The nose is ripe orange peel and mandarin zest with a light grain note. The palate is clean, with satsuma, gentle sweetness and a peppery edge, and the finish is medium, dry and crisp, with bitter orange peel and cracked black pepper.
