Hakata Whisky 10 Year Old is a Japanese whisky from Hikari Shuzo Distillery, matured in sherry casks. It is made in the south of Japan, where summers are hot and humid and winters are mild with the odd cold snap. Hakata's makers say these conditions suit the maturation of whisky with big, bold oak flavours, and the rich taste of the whisky comes from casks resting in that climate.
