Kaiyo "The Rubi" Port Pipe Japanese Whisky (75cl)

Kaiyo The Rubi is a Japanese whisky, a blended malt aged in Mizunara oak and then finished in Ruby Port pipes. It comes in a 75cl bottle. The Mizunara oak and the port pipe finish are the two stages that define it, and the tasting notes reflect both. The nose is usually described as candied orange and toasted marshmallow, with sandalwood and mango. On the palate come hints of dark chocolate and peppermint, with a high viscosity that leads into a long finish.
