Mars Shinshu Iwai is a blended Japanese whisky named after Kiichiro Iwai, a silent pioneer of Japanese whisky. It takes its inspiration from great American whiskies.
The blend is mostly corn balanced with light malt, aged in ex-bourbon barrels, and comes in a 75cl bottle. It is suggested for daily sipping, in a mint julep or in an old fashioned.
Sweet in character, the tasting notes mention pear, quince, hints of red fruits and vanilla.
