Ohishi Brandy Cask Whisky is a Japanese rice whisky matured in brandy casks. Maturation in French oak with residual brandy lets the elegance of the distillate come through. It is bottled at 44% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The aroma is floral, with orchard fruits such as pear and green apple, while a delicate rice character remains. On the palate it is light and soft, with flowers, sake and toasted oak.
