Hampden Great House Distillery Edition 2024 is an old pure single Jamaican rum, the sixth release in a series that began in 2019. It comes from Hampden Distillery, founded in 1779, and pays tribute to the distillery's Great House.
The rum is made from molasses with dunder, distilled in a double retort pot still and aged in bourbon casks. It is bottled at 57% vol. in a 70cl bottle.
The aromas set fresh mint against the sweetness of tropical fruit, with mineral slate notes, dark chocolate and pronounced raisin.
