This is a Jamaican rum from the Hampden distillery in Trelawny, distilled in 2018 and aged seven years. It is the HGML mark, with an ester content of 1,000 to 1,100 grams per hectolitre of pure alcohol, and comes from the Cristina De Middel Edition. It opens with a balance of rich fruit, fine floral scents and honeyed notes of notable softness, then builds in aromatic and flavour intensity with increasingly pronounced empyreumatic tones. Bottled at 60% vol in a 70cl bottle.
