Hard Truth Sweet Mash is a straight bourbon from Hard Truth Distilling Co. in Brown County, Indiana. It is made in the sweet mash style, bottled in small batches at 93 proof and non-chill filtered, in a 75cl-class 750ml bottle closed with a cork stopper.
The nose gives caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, brown sugar and soft baking spice. On the palate there is toffee, vanilla cream, oak and light cinnamon, with a rich bourbon sweetness. The finish is medium to long and warming, with lingering caramel, oak and spice and a touch of toasted grain.
