Hatozaki Pure Malt is a blended malt whisky from The Kaikyo Distillery in Akashi, Japan. The name refers to the oldest lighthouse in Japan, which dates from 1620. Mossburn Distillers & Blenders, an independent Scottish bottler, acquired the distillery in 2016. The name is also said to have been chosen to avoid confusion with the whiskies of Eigashima White Oak, the distillery behind Akashi.
