Hazelburn 10 Year (75cl, 46%)

Hazelburn 10 Year is a Campbeltown single malt from Springbank Distillery. It is triple-distilled from unpeated barley and bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle. It is matured only in bourbon casks for at least ten years and is non-chill filtered. Springbank floor-malts all of its own barley, and Hazelburn is one of three single malts made there, alongside Springbank and Longrow. The nose is sweet and tropical, with baked pineapple, lemon sherbet, honeycomb and pear. On the palate come green apple, toffee apple, vanilla and malty honeycomb, with a light saline thread. The finish is medium to long, with salted caramel, ginger and toasted coconut.
