A 25-year-old Springbank from Campbeltown, distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2025 at 42.9%. It comes from a single first fill bourbon hogshead, cask 112, which gave 186 bottles in 70cl.
The nose is fairly light, with tangerine, lime, melon and yellow apple, then broken branches, subtle minty ashes, almonds and toasted vanilla. On the palate it is very oily and buttery, with thyme, rosemary, herbal honey, yellow fruits, a little wood smoke and tobacco. The finish is medium to long, with oak spice, smoked herbs, orange oil and drying tobacco.
