Hazelburn 7 Year Old Oloroso is an unpeated, triple-distilled Campbeltown single malt from Springbank Distillery, bottled at 47.9% in a 750ml bottle. It is a 2026 release limited to 9,000 bottles.
It spent all seven years in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks from Spain rather than being finished in them, and is non-chill filtered at natural colour.
The nose offers maraschino cherries, fudge, treacle and sticky dates. The palate is silky, with brown sugar, ginger, raisins, milk chocolate and toasted hazelnuts. The finish is medium-long and warming, with sticky toffee pudding, black currants and a herbal freshness.
