Heartgow Summer 2026 is a single malt from the Hercynian Distilling Co. in Walkenried, Germany, bottled in 2026 at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is a Seasonal Collection release of 384 bottles, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. The whisky matured in first-fill rye whiskey casks and Malaga Moscatel hogsheads, a pairing that sets rye spice against dark fruit and honeyed sweetness. The nose brings ripe cherries, sun-dried raisins, honey and a touch of vanilla. On the palate there is spicy rye bread and dark cherries with orange, soft vanilla and sweet raisins. The finish is long and woody, with vanilla, honey and dried fruit.
