Heaven's Door Single Barrel SKG 5 is a seven-year-old straight bourbon from a single cask, bottled at cask strength of 61.4% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in Indiana, and only 215 bottles were filled. The mash bill is 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malt. Heaven's Door is a collection of American whiskeys developed in collaboration with Bob Dylan. The palate is powerful, with dark sweetness and maple syrup, a slight ethereal freshness and a creamy softness, before peppery spice arrives. The finish is long and warm, with wood and herbal notes.
