Penelope Architect Crème Brûlée is an Indiana straight bourbon finished with vanillin French oak staves. It is built on a four-grain MGP base and bottled at 40% ABV, in a 75cl bottle.
The finish was developed with Tonnellerie Radoux of France, using French oak staves and the OakScan process to shape the flavour of each bottle. The result is aimed at those who enjoy dessert-inspired bourbons.
The nose is sweet candied cream and floral, with hints of crème brûlée. The palate is creamy and sweet, with herbal, floral and cream notes, and the finish is rich vanilla, long and lingering, with some heat.
