Heaven's Door – Single Barrel SKG 6 Bourbon Whiskey (70cl, 59.4%)

A single barrel bourbon from Heaven's Door, the American whiskey range developed with Bob Dylan. It was distilled in Indiana, is 5 years old and is bottled at cask strength, 59.4% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Only 210 bottles were filled. The mash bill is 77% corn, 15% rye and 8% malt. The palate is described as powerful, with dark sweetness and maple syrup, a slightly ethereal freshness and a creamy softness. Peppery spice follows quickly, and the finish is long and warm, with wood and herbal notes.
