Heaven's Door – Straight Rye Whiskey (43%)

Heaven's Door Straight Rye is an American rye whiskey bottled at 43% ABV. The brand is named after Bob Dylan's song 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door', and Dylan created it with Marc Bushala, together with master blender Ryan Perry. The rye matured for at least six years in new American oak, then spent a further six months in French 'cigar' casks. Their elongated shape gives more contact between whiskey and wood. It is described as full and complex, with orange peel, coriander, caramel and spice.
