This is a ten year old Tasmanian single malt from Hellyers Road, in a 70cl bottle at 46.2% ABV.
It was matured in traditional 250 litre Oloroso casks from Jerez in Spain. It is described as the oldest fully matured sherry cask whisky known to have been released by an Australian distillery to date.
The tasting notes mention toffee, treacle, orange zest, brioche and clove on the nose, with caramel, honey, a little chocolate and stewed fruits on the palate, and a smooth, sweet finish.
